The boys and girls in 1st and 2nd class have been working extremely hard over the last few months. In science, they learned about floating and sinking. We also planted sunflower seeds. In English, we were learning about procedural writing. We discussed how to make smoothies and Rice Krispie buns, we wrote up the procedure and made them in class.
We were very luck with some great weather during our Active School Week where we completed a wake up, shake up dance each morning, ran for 10 minutes at 10 o clock for the month of May, engaged in a whole school sports day, ran relay races, and played rounders. We also got outside to do some creative designs using chalk.
